The story of Higuera Ranch begins in 1769 when Franciscan missionaries planted figs along the Pacific Coast Trail. These beautiful trees became a symbol of faith, hope, and strength.
Over 250 years later, our goal is to keep those traditions alive! Find rest under the strong branches of the Higuera Tree, share everlasting memories in the Olive Grove, and imagine the memories held by our Rustic Barn.

The history is rich
When we purchased Higuera Ranch in 2014, I had no idea of the deep history hidden in these foothills. From the Rustic Barn built in 1904 to the Higuera Tree planted around 1769, the ranch feels like the perfect setting for a romance novel. Ten years later, I am grateful to be a part of your love story…
To say the least, the ranch needed a little extra love to transform into a luxury space for celebrations! Historically, Higuera Ranch was a dairy providing milk for locals. The Rustic Barn housed dairy cows, and the Creamery was used for refrigeration. You can still see barrel rings on the Creamery floor, along with the historic Creamery sink, bearing witness to years of production. The thick cement walls of the Creamery keep it cool even in warm weather, a testament to the craftsmanship of the early 1900s. Imagine the space filled with ice blocks to keep fresh milk cold!
We envisioned filling the dairyland with lovely succulents, lush lawns, and olive trees for luxury celebrations while preserving the rich history of the ranch. As you sit under the stars on the Rustic Barn Patio, close your eyes and imagine the stories held within our historic dairy barn.

“BREATHTAKING”
Higuera Ranch is breathtaking! We had the most unbelievable wedding weekend at the ranch and are already trying to find a reason to go back! We were able to sleep our wedding party and family on the property, which allowed us to be surrounded by love 24/7. The ranch speaks for itself, and the photos are spectacular. Kristin is a pleasure to work with!!!
